What is your commute?

I ride from Eastwood to downtown Syracuse. Usually Burnet Ave to Beech St, then Water St into the city. I ride a 1995 Marin Stinson, grey with full fenders, rack and panniers.

Used to ride in from Chittenango on rt290. I miss the longer commute.

I miss commuting all together. Sadly I don't really have that option anymore.

I've done a couple of rides around Liverpool/Baldwinsville.

Trips I've done:
1) Bayberry community to Alliance Bank Stadium
2) Bayberry to Baldwinsville Library

I am getting ready to try a commute from Bayberry (near Wegman's on route 57) to Syracuse University.

ANyone ever try a similar commute to where I'll be traveling? I am thinking route 57 to old liverpool road to park street to Lodi to crouse ave up to the university.

JohnF,

I like the map. I used Google initially to determine my route. I brought my bike on the Centro bus to work then rode it home last week. I went Crouse to Lodi to Park to Old Liverpool Rd to Route 57. The ride was actually very nice; only rough spot was right before Lodi and Park there is an intersection of about 5 different roads. I think I waited for each signal to change at least once before I went thru. The climb from going out of the villege of Liverpool toward Route 31 (just before the I-90 entrance) is a tough one if traffic is thick.

Starting next week I am going to bike to and from work. Monday might be brutal with 90 degrees F predicted.
